Ingredients (basic)

200 g all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon instant yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
100 g water

Ingredients (Sweet Potato)

200 g all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon instant yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
200 g Sweet potato (orange or purple)
100 g water (as needed)

Procedure

Bake the sweet potato at 350 for about an hour, until the middle is soft and the skin peels away. Set aside and let cool.

Combine all of the dry ingredients, mix well. For basic layer, add water and combine to form standard dough, although keep slighty sticky.

For the sweep potato layer, combine all dry ingredients, mix in mashed sweet potato, and add water until it comes together. Keep slightly sticky.

Let both doughs rise for about an hour. Roll out to about 12 inches by 8 inches each. Lay sweet potato layer on top of basic layer, roll to form a spiral.

Cut into 2-3 inch length, steam for 15 minutes, turn off stove, let sit in steamer basic for 5 minutes.
